Kancamagus

On the same weekend of the letterboxing we also went to hang out on the Swift River which runs parallel to the Kancamagus Highway. The Kanc, as we New Hampshirites like to call it, traverses northern NH from Albany, NH in the east to Lincoln, NH in the west. It is a scenic byway that runs through the White Mountains. There are many hikes located off this road and also many rock climbing spots. A lot of cyclists use this road for training. The kids had a great time playing on the rocks which are nice and smooth from years of wear from the water running over them.

  • Hey girlie!

Sounds like you have been busy sightseeing around your old stomping grounds. Hope your trip to Louisiana is uneventful, i.e. no hurricanes! Can you believe it, Nevis might actally get hit this year!
